The Great BOE Debacle of 2023 - Liz-gate? Kelley-gate? Bully-gate?
On Tuesday Jan 10th I walked in to the Enfield CT Board of Education meeting, started to walk to where i normally sit in the middle of the back row. Just as i was nearing the isle Liz Davis sat down in that spot, so I said to her "Hey, looks like we're sitting together tonight". I said it with a smile, but it was admittedly sarcastic. She then motions to Kelley Jackson to come sit with her (us). Kelley sits down and goes on a tirade swearing at me, calling me names, insulting me, flipping me off etc. I held my phone up and tried to take a video of her doing this, however i make a mistake and it was just a photo. Then Liz Davis takes a video of me, and comments on the video something along the lines of "hey [Mans Name] and [Mans Name], this is the guy that has been messing with me, i wanted to take a video so you could get a good look at him." (I don't remember the names). Kelley then takes her phone out and starts to video me, while flipping me off behind the camera.
Once the meeting starts this tirade would continue however was lessened, but the insults and name calling would continue. At some point during the meeting Kelley makes a sign that says "you are a piece of shit and your buddy sucked as a teacher", She held this sign up for 10-15 minutes, wiggling it from time to time to make sure that it was seen. I took a couple of pictures of her with the sign.
Two people that I was friends with were leaving, so i thought it would be a good time to leave myself. I got up, and was walking out when i hear Kelley calling out my name, I had everything that i had come with, so i didn't look back, i didn't respond, but she kept calling out all while interrupting the meeting. We walked through the doors in to the hallway, one of my friends was saying he needed to use the rest room, when Liz Davis comes barging out the doors after us, walks in between all of us (there was plenty of room but she decided to go through us) and goes in to the restroom. I was thinking 'well that was weird', but whatever. One friend goes in to the restroom, while the other starts walking down the stairs, I start to follow him to leave and Kelley Jackson comes barging through the doors. I thought she might need to tell me something, maybe, who knows, but shockingly even after calling my name multiple times, didn't actually have anything to say to me other than more swears, insults, and name calling. So at this point i take out my phone and start taking video since i'm now alone with her in the hallway. I start to make my way down the stairs and she goes on another tirade so i turned around only to see her lunging for the door. My friend that was in the restroom comes out and is shocked to see Kelley Jackson (as you see here in the video), then Liz Davis comes out of the restroom and gets in to a disagreement with him, he puts a hand up to try to create a little space and she gets closer to him yelling and swearing, and as you see in the video once she gets closer to him he puts up two hands and says something like "i'm not touching you, i can put my hands up if i want" Then Liz Davis starts to implode and starts yelling and swearing to the point that the BOE meeting was put on hold, and the superintendent and two other members came out and told her to be quieter.
This entire night i wasn't rude, i didn't swear at them, i didn't call them names, i didn't insult them, nothing. I defended myself, I stood up for myself, but i didn't instigate them in anyway.
Why were they so concerned about my leaving?
Why did Kelley need to 'check' on Liz in the backroom?
Were they planning on me staying until the end of the meeting?
Who were the people that Liz Davis mentioned in the video that she took of me, and what was the purpose of that video?
Were they planning on having people waiting for me after the meeting?
(I don't know, but their actions all seem to point to something like this.)
At this point the BOE is not providing a safe environment for the public to attend the meetings?
What is the BOE going to do about the safety of the meetings going forward?
It has been a week and Tina Leblanc (BOE Chair) has not responded to me email yet, though i did receive a well worded video from the town manager.

Enfield CT Junior High School Pizza Assignment Questions Answered - You Can't Handle The Truth
Chris Drezek the Superintendent and Democrat members of the Board of Ed have stated repeatedly that all of the questions have been answered in previous meetings. I don't see any answers in these clips, just excuses.

As of the day of this meeting, it's been 242 days since the 'mistake' happened at JFK. The mistake at question is an assignment that used Pizza as a metaphor in place of what the 8th grade students 'wants, desires, and boundaries' were, and to list them all to be reviewed. Example "Olives = Giving Oral" was listed as a possible option. The assignment was designed for college students, but somehow it magically was put in to the curriculum in Enfield 'by Mistake'.
Early on it was said by the Health Coordinator for the junior high school that the assignment was caught in June or July of the prior year by the Health Coordinator (so it appears that she did not add it if her statement was true), but she failed to remove it. She also mentioned that there was another version that was to be used that had a different 2nd page and wasn't supposed to be about sex at all. However the first page, first sentence "We can use pizza as a metaphor for sex!". I have not been able to find an alternate version of this assignment, and there has not been one put forward by the school as they continue the coverup with the assistance of the democrat party Board of Education members including the Chair Woman Tina Leblanc.
It has been suggested by anonymous sources that the teachers that assigned the pizza assignment did not want to because it was not appropriate, but they were pressured by unnamed people.
There are a lot of questions that have not been answered to date, but as time as gone on more and more questions have arisen. Enfield Superintendent Christopher Drezek and JFK Principal Andrew Berrios have not only not been forthcoming about the situation, they have actively worked to not answer questions and not allow an independent investigation by a committee proposed by Republican board member John Unghire. A Parent emailed in regard to the assignment, and Andrew Berrios' answer was to forward it to Drezek with a note "I am not responding". Drezek's response, "Good don't, I'm not either." Now BOE Chair Tina Leblanc has stated that she will not allow a committee to look in to the questions around the assignment.
